What teachers and producers ask first

How far ahead should we book for a school musical?

Six to twelve weeks is ideal — it lets us hand-finish alterations and source any one-off pieces. We’ll take last-minute bookings where stock allows, but the earlier you confirm, the more time we have to make it right.

Do you hire individual costumes or only full shows?

Both. Most schools take the full-cast package because it’s the strongest value, but we’re happy to hire individual principal costumes or single scenes — useful if you’re supplementing what staff have already made.

How do measurements and fittings work for a school cast?

We send a one-page measurement sheet your drama lead can run in a single rehearsal. We pull stock against those sizes and pack per character — labelled, on hangers, ready to wear. For schools within an hour of Blackpool we can run a fitting session on-site.

Do we need to clean the costumes before returning them?

No — return them as they came off stage. Cleaning, repair and any restocking is included in your hire fee. Save your staff the laundry trips.

What does a typical school musical hire cost?

Each quote is tailored to your show, cast size and hire period — but full-show packages typically come in at a fraction of what it would cost to make or buy the equivalent wardrobe. Ask for an itemised quote and you’ll see exactly what’s included.
